Ruger American Rifle Predator .22-250 Remington Bolt-Action Rifle

This American Rifle Predator model uses AI-style magazines; the rifle includes one magazine, which is compatible with all AICS (Accuracy International Chassis Systems). The magazine is manufactured by Ruger, molded from 50% glass-filled nylon, and features dust covers, and stainless steel springs. Ruger designed the Marksman Adjustable™ trigger for the American Rifle to be user adjustable for weight-of-pull. The stock is constructed from rugged composite and has a molded-in Power Bedding® system to rigidly attach the barreled action to the stock and free-float the barrel. A rubber recoil pad absorbs recoil and keep the butt planted firmly in the shoulder. 

The Predator model features a heavier tapered barrel to aid in long-range shooting; and, is threaded (5/8"-24). The barrel is cold hammer-forged, resulting in ultra-precise rifling for exceptional accuracy. A 3-lug bolt design with a 70° bolt lift provides plenty of clearance between the bolt handle and the riflescope. A 2-position tang safety is easily accessible and quick to operate by both right- and left-handed shooters; and, the bolt can be cycled for loading and unloading the rifle with the safety engaged. A cocking indicator at the end of the bolt can be seen and felt. The receiver is drilled and tapped, with a factory installed 1-piece aluminum, sight rail. Made in USA.
